Customer Service


To make a booking simply add the items you require to the shopping cart and specify the reservation dates (Enter Start date as the day of your hire, End Date is the immediate day after use whether 1,  2 or 3 plus day hire period) Please Note:  It is the customers responsibility to enter the hire dates correctly, always check this upon receipt of your Order confirmation. If dates have been entered incorrectly and the order is processed that day the full hire fee will be realised. No refund will be applicable, a credit may be considered by the hirer on a case by case basis.  The website will only allow bookings for products that are not currently allocated to another party or undergoing maintenance.  Select pickup or courier option. Next proceed through checkout  to finalise payment of your hire and an order confirmation will be emailed to you.  You should contact our office 3 working days prior to your event to finalise your delivery/collection details with us. Please note our office is closed on Wednesdays.

Hire Basis

All games are subject to availability and based on a 24 hour do it yourself hire without staffing.  24 hours is an estimation based on games being delivered/collected on the day requested and then picked up/returned on the following day.

If you require facilitation from one of our consultants please click on 'event staff' icon  (min 2 hours) and add to cart.

All games should be neatly packed and in a reasonably clean condition ready for return/pick up.  Hirers returning games that are excessively dirty or wet will be charged a cleaning fee [excessive dirt will need to be removed and games dried prior to collection].  This cleaning fee will be deducted from the security deposit  or invoiced . The amount you will be charged will be advised prior to processing.  Lost or damaged items will need to be replaced. The Hirer will be invoiced for these items. The amount will be deducted from your security deposit. If amount exceeds the amount of the security deposit the balance should be settled by way of credit card payment or eft deposit within 7 days of your return date.


Payment can be made by Paypal, Direct Deposit or by credit card (over the phone) or Cheque, refer below.  The total amount of the hire can be processed at the time of the booking however the minimum requirement is a 50% deposit at the time of your booking. Final payment should be made at least 5 working days prior to collection/delivery of your order.  Please note that if 2 transactions are required on credit card payments a 1% fee will be charged to your card. 

Payment selection can be made when processing your order on the website.  Cheques will only be approved subject to special conditions - please contact us for details. Cheques should be cleared at least 5 working days prior to your delivery/collection date.

Security Deposit:

A security deposit is payable at the time of booking to cover products against loss and damage.  The amount required will depend on the products hired and will be indicated in both the shopping cart and product description pages.

Though it is expected that there may be some wear and tear to throwing games due to their nature, games should be used according to guidelines.   The deposit may be used to cover the cost cleaning and loss or damage to game item  (resulting from inappropriate handling of games).  

Security deposit is 25% of your total hire fee. Refunds will be processed within 7-14 days of the return of your games (in good order)

Please inform us of any problems, breakages or missing parts when you game hire is completed.

Delivery and Collection:

Delivery/collection fees are applicable within our service area and are charged depending on the number of items ordered and delivery postcode.   Standard charges can be calculated using the quote function on the shopping cart page or by calling our office.

Weekends Bookings Sat-Sun are charged 1 day hire rate only . Arrangements can be made for Friday deliveries and Monday collections; standard terms and conditions with respect to location and travel still apply.  All delivery/collection fees are based on ease of access to the venue and parking/loading facilities.   If the venue has stairs or is difficult to access additional charges may apply or assistance required from the client.

Where setup/set-down is required our agents will arrive at an agreed time to complete the process. 

Collection/Return:  To avoid delivery charges you are welcome to collect from and return to our Seven Hills office Open 7 days. Always confirm the Pick-Up/Return location at the time of booking. All late returns (past the agreed dates as per your booking form) will incur additional day/s hire fee unless 24 hours notice is provided, late returns must still be approved by us and will always be subject to requirements of other hirers who have booked those items for use on or around the date of your return.

Pickup and Returns with our Courier  - Games arrive between 1.30 and 6pm on the day before your event (unless notified otherwise) All returns  should be securely packed (same standard as items were delivered) and ready for our courier  from 8.30 am on the day of your return. If a courier has to return for collection an additional fee for that return will be incurred. If you are unable to satisfy this deadline for any reason, we must be notified via email prior to 9am on the day of collection.

Pickup and Returns by the Client (from our Warehouse) - Games should be collected during operating hours (Refer to our website for these) Returns are due back by 1pm the day after your hire. Late returns will incurr additional day hire fee unless 24 hour notice has been received or exceptional circumstances arise.

Age Limit:

Most games are suitable for age 6 and over, even adults!  With proper adult supervision younger children may use some products.


Cancellation can be made no less than 72 hours from your confirmed delivery/collection date/time, less than 72 hours but more than 24 hours your payment will be converted to a credit against future bookings which must be realized within 3 months of the original hire date.

All bookings canceled 24 hours prior to start of booking date will incur full cost of the hire, no refund or credit will be applicable.

Transfers are accepted and subject to 3 days notice. This must be in writing (email accepted).

Insurance, Liability & Responsibility:

Outdoorsy Pty Ltd trading under license as Yardparty Sydney is insured for $10 million of public and property liability. Our insurance and responsibility extends to limit of this policy only and it does not assume cover, responsibility for or in any way guarantee your event.   Hirers should seek their own cover and assume their own responsibility for the event.

If staff from Outdoorsy Pty Ltd  accompany the game hire, they are suitably trained and qualified to supervise the set up, rules outlines and pack up the games only. It is the hirers responsibility to address all OH&S matters.
